Why 2018+ Fords Need NASTF + FDRS

Starting in 2018, Ford locked the security gateway on every new vehicle and now requires the NASTF Vehicle Security Professional (VSP) credential plus an active Ford FDRS subscription to program keys. This was a deliberate move to push key programming back to dealers. Most locksmiths can't pass the NASTF background check — we did, and we maintain a current Ford FDRS subscription, so we're one of the few DFW shops that can program 2024-2025 F-150, Mustang, Bronco, Maverick, Lincoln Navigator, and Mach-E keys without the car ever leaving your driveway.

Computer / Module Programming on Any Ford

We program Ford modules (PCM, BCM, IPC, ABS, RCM, KVM, GWM) at your location with FDRS — including used / salvage modules with full VIN write and as-built data download. This saves you from replacing a perfectly good control module that just needs configuration. Same approach Ford dealer techs use.
