Will This Fix My Problem?
Honest answer: here's exactly what this service fixes — and what it doesn't. Save yourself time and shipping cost before ordering.
This service fixes:
- ✓Car cranks and starts briefly, then shuts down
- ✓P1570 — Engine Start Blocked by Immobilizer
- ✓P0513 — Incorrect Immobilizer Key
- ✓Installed a used ECU and cannot pair it to the original cluster
- ✓Damaged instrument cluster (24C64 EEPROM) on 2011-2016 VW Jetta and similar — bypass entirely
- ✓Another locksmith damaged your instrument cluster and the car will not start
- ✓No working key, need to run the ECU on the bench without dealer pairing
This service won't fix:
- ✗Completely dead vehicle (no power at all)
- ✗No-crank conditions (starter not engaging)
- ✗Mechanical engine faults unrelated to immobilizer
Damaged cluster from a failed key attempt? We can bypass it.
A very common scenario: another locksmith tried to make a key on a 2011-2016 VW Jetta (and many other VW/Audi models with a 24C64 EEPROM in the cluster) and damaged the IC or 24C64 chip in the process. The car will no longer start because the immobilizer chain is broken between cluster ↔ ECU. We can disable the immobilizer directly inside the ECU — your car will start with no working cluster and no matched keys required. This recovery path is what we get the most calls about, and most shops will turn it away.
